Mint Chutney

Author Notes: We tend to eat a fair bit of Indian food at our house. Mint chutney is a tasty condiment to enjoy with an Indian dinner and a great way to use up a bumper crop of mint.City Share

Makes 1 cup

  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup, or sweetener of your choice
  • 1 cup mint, packed
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/2 jalepeno, ribs and seeds removed, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne, or to taste
  1. Add all of the ingredients to a food processor or blender. Mix until smooth. Refrigerate for several hours before serving.
