Serves a cup

  • 1 Black radish, thinly sliced (using a mandolin)
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1/4 cup Sea salt
  • Butter
  • Good crusty bread
  1. Make a brine by combining the salt and water. Add the sliced radish. Place in the refrigerator and soak in the brine for 3 to 5 days.
  2. To serve: Butter a slice of the good crusty bread and place a slice of the radish on top. Enjoy!

Mmm. Interesting! Can you use other radishes?

I think you can...Maybe try the regular red ones and see how it will come out. To be honest I only have tried it with the black radish.
