About This Cook

I like cooking for the body. In my blogs i talked about different kinds of diets i tried and why. I ate what my mom and grandmother cooked for me when i was young which included meat. While attending College, i was introduced to a vegetarian meal. I adopted the vegetarian diet for 29 years mostly because i had 'fear of getting sick'. I turned vegan for the same reason - fear of getting sick. I tasted some raw desserts and for the same reason as above plus good taste, I adopted the raw food diet. I even tried other diets that most people will not try - like breatharianism. Through all these, i started waking up to the truth - that we are all here made of cells consisting of atoms that consist of the same substance all are made of, so i started eating all kinds of dishes again including meat. I can see that even children are affected by sugar, so i am inclined to making recipes using fruits as sweetener as they contain fiber. I watched the film the Bitter Truth' which was done by UCtelevision which made sense. I do not demonize sugar though. I am convinced that i can eat yummilicious meals that are sweetened with natural sugars and unrefined sugars, realizing that when my body 'desires' some form of nourishment for its own needs, i will be flexible. I have a diabetic friend that reach out for candy when his body go low on sugar otherwise he will die. Finding out what foods i have to avoid according to my blood type also assist. Developing a way i can form a relationship with the body where i can give it what it needs to function effectively is commonsensical. === Business Website: http://www.budsoflife.org
