I grew up in Brooklyn in a house where simplicity and freshness were the focus. That's still the way I like to cook everyday. Now, however, I also have a decadent side;)
I love feeding people and having people over for meals and, let's face it, making, eating and talking about food is the foundation of plenty of my friendships
I'm currently a graduate student which leaves little time for anything as superflous as making meals (ha!) which I think is an awful way to live and I try to make time to cook as much as possible.
