About This Cook

As a long time resident of Walla Wall, WA and a child of Berkeley, CA I like to think that I have some of the best parts of an inland agricultural and a coastline market city background working with me in whatever kitchen endevours I undertake. At CCA (California Culinary Academy) I studied in the Baking&Pastry program, learning all about culinary adventures from Sourdough levain to pulled sugar and chocolate sculpture but i've always had a love for the savory side of the cutting board. I guess I started this blog for the reasons anyone has a food page: I like food and I like sharing food! I hope that through my blog I can improve both my sweet and savory skill sets, continuing on my quest to really blur the line between and share what I find, both delicious and... not so much... with as many people as I can. Hope to see you there!
