I work as a chef in the restaurant industry fourty-five hours plus a week. After doing this repetitiously for many years; I decided to start food blogging in order to keep my life interesting and having a creative outlet for all the recipe I couldn't create at work. Inspired by my grandmother when you visit The Local Forkful you'll find rustic southern cuisine, contemporary American and a hodge podge of comfort food.
