During regular business hours, I work as an administrative assistant for a non-profit organization. But once 5 o'clock hits, I am the author & recipe developer of Poor Girl Eats Well, a blog devoted to showing people how to eat ridiculously well on a minuscule budget. From original recipes to tips on how to change how you think about "eating on the cheap", I like to show folks how easy it can be to enjoy tasty, nutritious meals that don't break the bank.
When I'm not living & breathing PGEW, I like to wander around town taking random pictures for my other (seldomly updated) blog, check out restaurants in the Midtown area (when I can afford to do so); help other Sacramento eating enthusiasts with their projects; or just hang out with my awesome felines and a good book.
When I'm not doing any of that, my brain is in constant overdrive, musing about everything under the sun. Such behavior causes me to start other blogs, and I am currently working on a new food blog to cover all the other food thoughts that aren't necessarily PGEW material. I'm hoping to launch it by March of this year, so stay tuned!
