I am Manju Mahadevan, an absolute foodie – I love to eat, cook, share and write about food. I have recently taken an interest in food photography as well. Mirch Masala started as just an online personal space to jot down recipes – recipes inspired from my grandmother, ones that I created on my own and my favorites from elsewhere. It soon took off to becoming a full fledged food blog, which now has more than just recipes – restaurant reviews, food events, cooking class experiences and more. It is now an expression of my love for food and cooking.
I have lived all over South India during the first 25 years of my life and am now settled in Seattle with my wonderful husband who is the perfect partner to a foodie like me - loves to eat good food and will eat anything that is good!
