Hy,everyone! My name is Cristiane and I live in Brazil where I was born a big-little-girl 35 years ago on a town outside Rio called PetrĂ³polis(City of Peter)up on the hills. And so I was raised watching the fog come in through the windows while my mom made me caramelized aples or bread pudim...Tropical,right?You would be amazed by how "un-tropical"some places in Brazil can be.It's huge down here you know? And the variety of foods we have here...I've eaten things you probabbly wouln't get near of.And I looooove them:Ox foot,Ox tail,Pigs ears,Chicken hearts,Tripe, strange and super tasty fruit that grow only here like Jaca(jackfruit)or Jaboticaba(wich can be translated into a black spherical juice box),and typical dishes I hope to be able to teach you how to put together, like "GaIinha ao molho pardo",wich is basically chicken on it's own blood sauce(delicious and no,it's not gross at all!)I've danced ballet, knitted, and wrote all my life, besides cooking of course!People in my family often say I should own a restaurant...but I guess all fairly good cooks' family members say that!See you around!
