I am a Tennessee farm girl living as an expat in Los Angeles, where I write about food for a variety of magazines, books and websites. I enjoy exploring the world's cuisines here in LA, and abroad when I have the opportunity. Nothing delights me more than finding a new shop full of the foods and flavorings of a cuisine I'm unfamiliar with. Still, when I go home to Tennessee, I can't wait to fall face down on all the good Southern food I can find.
