"Gypsy" is not my real name...
Eat, drink, cook, write, travel, shoot, dance, be groovy - repeat. Distracted by all things shiny. Livin', lovin', EATIN'... WELL!
Just a nice gal from BC/Alberta/Nova Scotia... now exploring Canada's creamy center filling and new gastronomic adventures.
Real food advocate. Real wine, errrr, drinker.
I found my way into the kitchen when I haphazardly purchased a small country inn after being laid off from my big-stinky corporate life. Seemed like a good idea at the time. (Nobody tells you about the laundry.)
Five years later in the spring of 2010; I sold my business, my home, my car (and my television) and began a new life. It was a journey of 30,000 miles, wrapping up at Le Cordon Bleu, Ottawa where I learned to cook with greater expertise.
Even met the most amazing man, over a pound of butter.
That man is a fancy-shmansy French Chef (Chef B.) who is a surprisingly picky eater, he often insists I try things that smell alarmingly like feet. Most (but not all) of these things are cheese. There is often wine involved. (Thank God)
We have "his & hers" kitchens...
