I grew up in a small American Italian family in the rugged hills of Walnut Creek, California. My grandparents taught me a love for cooking at an early age. Shopping at local markets for the freshest ingredients (my grandmother was a seriously feisty shopper) and hand-making pasta was an all day affair. I am a cooking class instructor with a focus on natural whole foods. I also cater smallish parties for a couple of local families. I currently reside in Holland, Michigan with my two sons, Alex and Zac.
