I entertain myself daily with reading cooking memoirs, food blogs, food/cooking magazines, and podcasts. . . I love re-reading cookbooks for inspiration.
I lust for kitchen accoutrements more than shoes (well, I do have a weakness for boots).
I also manage my camp kitchen at Burning Man every year and make a fabulous brunch for over 40 people every day. . . last year I pre-cooked over 600 pieces of bacon and brought it out to the Playa.
I just got back from Thailand and learned how to make curry pastes from scratch. I successfully made Green & Red curry pastes this week with my new mortar & pestle.
