About This Cook

It wasn't until I had kids and was suddenly thrown into a world where I was responsible for feeding others that I truly embraced cooking. I have a background in Design and Photography, and took my love of both mediums along with my new found love of cooking and started a food blog in April 2008, called 'The Parsley Thief'. For me, it was a way to creatively express myself, but in a way that worked with what my lifestyle had become - which was first and foremost, being a mom to two young boys. The Parsley Thief focuses on family-friendly, wholesome foods that are made from scratch and also happen to taste great! I use my photography training to bring the elements of a recipe to life for my readers - hopefully providing a visual aide for those who are either new at cooking or just appreciate seeing what the final dish will look like. All the photos are shot in my kitchen in South Norwalk, CT - a home I share with my husband of 10 years, my two crazy boys [a.k.a. my bozos], a bird, a cat and a 8 yr. old goldfish.
