Believe it not, I am still working and love it! My first job out of college (WVU, School of Journalism) was as food editor of a daily newspaper in WVA which is when my interest in food really took hold! Since then at various times in Virginia I have been a caterer for receptions, etc. for up to 990 persons; managed a restaurant at a marina; been co-person in preparing a couple of cookbooks requiring several printings for my churches - (great recipes I think plus being a coffee table accent with graces and comments with local artist sketches from "Fithian's Diary" by permission from Colonial Williamsburg and another with local yore),and free lance writer. I love doing fund-raisers of theme dinners with (as formal as we can in a church setting) full course meals utilizing parishioners only as waiters, chefs, decorators, etc. Garnishing is an all-time favorite. We had a B & B in our 1832 home where my husband's father was born for a number of years publicized by word of mouth only which kept us quite busy.
