We're all about collections over at Provisions -- so following that lead, we'll be making recipe collections to go alongside those that are in Provisions. Because recipes want to be together, too.??

Today: We’re throwing a Cinco de Mayo party — here’s what you need to do the same.

Shop the Story

Cinco de Mayo is a holiday all about sparkle and spice. Okay, it’s also a little bit about history too, but mostly we’re thinking about the spice, and the tequila, and the very good tacos. In order to celebrate it well, you should go over the top with party decorations. This is the time to put up a shiny gold piñata and some pretty lights. Make a good, upbeat playlist and mix up some margaritas. All of this will guarantee a festive fiesta -- but the most important part is excellent spicy party food. Homemade tortillas and tacos are easier than they look with the right seasoning and cooking tools.

Here are some go-to Mexican recipes that are good for a crowd -- guacamole included, of course.
