The best part of eating a cinnamon roll is the process of slowly teasing apart its tightly curled form, exposing the soft white interiors before biting off the best bite -- the almost under-baked center. It's mesmerizing how these simple things, made from a foundation of plain flour, can have such beautiful lines and swirls. 

Although some processes -- rolling, braiding, twisting -- can take some time, it's worth it when you get to see and enjoy the finished product. Get your hands messy. Marvel at the little pieces of edible art you've just created...then take a bite.
