The Margarita and 7 More of Tequila's Greatest Hits

July 31, 2015

With the magical combination of the margarita—tequila, lime, and salt—it's tempting to think of tequila as a one-hit wonder (two hits, if you count the ever-popular tequila shot, stuck squarely between a lime wedge a lick of salt).

Well, we like to think that there's tequila, and then there's Tequila! Once you've mastered the margarita, nudge tequila beyond its comfort zone and make these smoky, citrusy drinks with one of summer's most refreshing spirits.

There is tequila and then there is Casa Dragones, my favorite tequila. Delicious to sip cold with a tiny twist of lime, or without the lime.
