Perhaps we could have a special "Editor's Pick Hero Award" for the cook who volunteered to take on the most dishes this round. I applaud those who had the time, energy and hungry households to make more than a dish or two! Some took on five or more! (AntoniaJames). I only did 2, but I'll have healthy whole grain lunch leftovers all week. Yum.

Thanks for testing this! Feel free to add as much or little chipotle as you like. It's pretty spicy with the amount specified. Hope you enjoy it.

Thank you all for generously leaping to test this record number of Editors' Pick candidates -- yet another example of the power of the food52 community at work, making a rather confusing system work seamlessly. Just two recipes are left: Sweet and Savory Whole Oats and Sweet Brown Rice Porridge; Spicy Stewed Black-eyed Peas and Baby Limas with Corn Quesadillas

I can do Mung Bean and Mixed Rice Sweet Congee tonight, thanks to a friend who just gave me forbidden rice and mung beans.

Jalapeno and Black-Eyed Pea fondue is me, then, as I am on an island off the southwest coast of Florida and the ingredients seems readily available at the local Publix lol

Is there anything left to test (sorry, i was travelling all weekend and without a computer until this morning, which was very stressful. The being without the computer part, not the travelling part haha).

Sweet and Savory Whole Oats and Sweet Brown Rice Porridge, Mung Bean and Sweet Rice Congee, Spicy Stewed Black-eyed Peas and Baby Limas with Corn Quesadillas, and Jalepeno and Black-eyed Pea Fondue appear to be left.

I would love to have claimed more recipes, but not having all the ingredients (red quinoa, not black, for instance) made me ineligible. No wallflowers here, but trying them with current inventory.

OK...I've got my ricotta EP candidate in the oven, the porky pea soup simmering on the stove, a new recipe ready to upload and a rainy Sunday afternoon...I'll tackle the short grain rice and black quinoa...
PS. I think the bisi bela was claimed by Jennifer Ann, so that's one more to scratch off the list.

Oh, I can keep you company, too. This almost feels like high school dances when you don't get asked...or am I dating myself?

Panfusine, Jennifer Ann has chosen your recipe - it just hasn't gotten a claimed tag!

I am excited to see that my recipe, Volcano Rice Tabouli Salad, is up for testing. I see it has been claimed but I don't see the comment claiming it. Was it tagged by accident?
Thanks
