Would it be possible for someone else to volunteer for this recipe (Mama's morels fried in butter) for the editors pick please?... I'm looking for fresh morels, but haven't found any so far ( Plan to check out any weekend farmers markets as well), but It would be terrible if I'm unable to test these before tuesday, In the event i get my hands on some, i'll definitely post my tasting notes in the comments
Thanks so much!!

I will try the rich mushroom espresso (so will the 15 other people at Easter dinner). Its supposed to be rainy and 45 degrees so I am betting this will hit the spot as an amuse bouche!

On the road all day and got here late, plus I'm not gonna be home till Tuesday. These all look so scrumptious!

That heirloom bean and mushroom stew immediately caught my eye this afternoon, but I called around and NO ONE in my area carries Christmas Lima Beans! Boo.

If I had them shipped, I wouldn't get them in time. Oh, the joys of accessing some ingredients and living in north central Maine...

We don't have fresh chanterelles here either (or at least I haven't been able to find them) but I have some excellent dried ones, and everything else to make this, so I'll test it . . . . but probably won't get be able to send in my write-up until late tomorrow night, due to my jammed up schedule during the day.;o)

Thanks for the commas - those were some pretty exotic-sounding recipes without the punctuation ;) I will test the Hot Mushroom Salad as a starter for our Easter lunch.

We only have one official tester per recipe and cinnamongirl already called dibs on the couscous but if you want to try the couscous recipe and enter your notes in the comments section for the recipe, that's fine. And there are other mushrooms recipes still up for dibs if you'd like to test one.

The pleasure is all mine! I picked up some nice fresh ducks' eggs at the farmers' market this morning, which I'll fry and serve with this for dinner tonight. I can hardly wait!! ;o)
