Recipes are more fun when you make them with someone you love, so we partnered with Hellmann's Canada to share a simple, summery, and kid-friendly dish from the Bite Me More sisters. (They're a hoot!)

When it comes to weeknight dinners, the only thing we love more than a recipe you can get to the table quickly, or one that will satisfy even your pickiest eater, is one that accomplishes both goals in one dish. We—that's Julie and Lisa, we're sisters!—started Bite Me More as a way to share recipes for the whole family that work (and that way, we were able to spend even more time together). As busy, working moms with six kids between us, we strive to come up with meals that are family-friendly and quick to prepare.

Recently, we've been hooked on these BBQ Chicken Burrito Bowls because they please just about anyone, and use fun and flavorful ingredients you can find easily at the grocery store. (No multiple stops—who has time for that anyway?) The one thing we love most about this dish is that you can customize it as you serve it. And, better yet, you can get kids involved in putting their bowls together so they make them exactly to their liking. If you don't have time to roast your own chicken, or you just don't feel like it, use a store-bought rotisserie chicken to cut down on your cooking and prep time. No matter how you make them, these tasty bowls, finished with our homemade chipotle mayonnaise dressing, will put make everyone happy.

Another tip: Don't be afraid to experiment in the kitchen and improvise with your ingredients. Try brown rice or quinoa in place of white rice, or turn this into a vegetarian dish by substituting tofu for the chicken and vegetable broth to cook your rice. Grill a piece of fish instead of chicken—cod pairs really well with the Southwestern flavors. For the burrito bowl toppings, try grilled sweet potato planks, grilled asparagus, steamed broccoli, or snow peas as alternate options. (Really, toss in whatever's in season!) Watch the video below and we'll walk you through the assembly—hopefully we'll make you laugh a little bit, too, along the way.
