17 Sweet Treats Because Lunch Deserves Dessert, Too

September 26, 2017

I’m not sure if it’s socially acceptable to pack a lunch dessert after graduating elementary school, but I just don’t feel like a meal is done until I take a sweet bite. Even at my previous job, where cakes and pies and cookies weren’t constantly floating out of a test kitchen, I would circle back through the cafeteria just before heading to my desk. I fell for a 60 cent, warm, chewy chocolate chip cookie almost daily. There are worse habits.

It also helps if they’re shareable; your coworkers are bound to want a bite. Plus, if you make a big batch, you get a lunch dessert all week long.

Do you pack lunch desserts? Do you wait until dinner? Do you power through the day without any sugar?
