All month long, our Baking Club is focused on Dorie Greenspan’s Baking: From My Home to Yours, and Dorie's blondies have been a reoccurring favorite, likely because, as Club member Debi Smirnoff noted, they're similar to cookies, "but much easier to make and bake."

All great blondies should be loaded with mix-ins, and Dorie's are no exception. Her Chewy, Chunky Blondies are chock-full of coconut, walnuts, butterscotch chips and chocolate chips, making them a staple in Club member Christine S. Birnbaum's rotation: "I have made these for years and I've never found anyone who didn't like them!"
We wouldn't want you to miss out on rich, chewy blondies if you don't happen to have a copy of Dorie's book, so we've rounded up 7 of our favorite recipes from our site. With mix-ins from nuts to brown butter to cookie butter, you're sure to find the blondie for you. Plus, read on to find out what books we’ll be covering next in the Club.
Those of you who are familiar with our Baking Club know the books we cook through are self-selected by the group. Last week, we held a vote for the cookbooks we'll focus on in next few months. So, without further ado, here's what's ahead for the Club:
What is a bonus book? While we focus on one book a month, this is an extra book that members can cook through the whole year long, too. The group will have more time to cook through McFadden’s book, and members will always have this book as an option to cook from if they don’t have access to the book of the month.
If you’re new to the Club, head here for a primer on how to participate.
