Crispy Chili Pepper Stuffed Pakora  Coconut Tofu with Burning Rings of Fire

Any food52 member is welcome to help us test our Editors' Pick candidates, so go call dibs on the recipe you'd like to test in the comments section below! We'd love to see some new testers in the mix. Don't forget to email us your notes (about 100 words) to [email protected] by next Tuesday at 5pm.

We'll collect your comments, decide the official list of Editors' Picks and publish your evaluation in the headnote if the recipe is selected as an Editors' Pick (with credit, of course!). And even if the recipe you test isn't chosen as an Editors' Pick, please feel free to leave your testing notes in the recipe's comments section. Constructive criticism is always encouraged!

Just wanted to say congratulations to all and thank you to the editors. I have not been a tester yet, and would make this my first go if I weren't going out of town like so many of us. Hopefully those who aren't trying to beat the heat with a vacation will enjoy the heat of chili peppers while they test. Congrats, again, and thanks!

TiggyBee August 4, 2011
Congrats all! I'll take the Tinga Chicken.

gingerroot August 4, 2011

This is making me sad I'm out of town this weekend. All of these picks look stupendous! Way to go all!

hardlikearmour August 4, 2011
Congrats to all finalists, EPs and EPCs. Thanks to the editors (especially Francesca Gilberti) for testing my pepper & corn salsa. I am definitely a bit of a testing hog, so I will refrain until tomorrow to give others a chance.

wssmom August 4, 2011
Oh, dear, now I feel guilty ....

hardlikearmour August 4, 2011
no, don't!

sticksnscones August 4, 2011

AntoniaJames August 4, 2011
My sons and I will make and test Pancetta Slaw with Chili-Lime Vinaigrette. I can't eat chilies, but they comment and contribute to all of my other EP reviews, as does Mr. T, so there's no reason not to do so here. Plus, this is the type of dish that I know they'll enjoy, and it's easily adapted for me, as well. Thanks so much. ;o)

checker August 4, 2011
I am humbled that you would test my recipe, AntoniaJames, as I am quite a fan. Thank you. I hope you do find it to be adaptable and please let me know what changes you make so I can note them for future use. Thanks again!

aargersi August 4, 2011
Congrats to all and many thanks for the great comments on mine! I can't test this week but that's OK I have been a testing hog ... it's so fun!

Midge August 4, 2011
Thanks a million for the EP! Wish I weren't going away so I could help test this week.

rapearson August 4, 2011
Can I make Salsa Asada?

rapearson August 4, 2011
Oh, just searched the page and see someone else has that one.
