Rise and Shine, because we've partnered with Milk to bring you our latest contest: your all-time best creamy breakfast recipe starring real milk. Read on for all the delicious, dreamy details.

When we put out the call—to excited early risers and alarm clock snoozers alike—for our latest recipe contest, we asked you to bring your creamiest, dreamiest breakfasts to the table.

And let's just say, you brought a tasty new meaning to the most important meal of the day. From creative smoothie combos and savory oats to custardy soufflés and even a breakfast pasta, your submissions were all worth jumping out of bed for.

But in the end, it was a showdown between eggs and pancakes. Well, sort of.

On one side, there was sdebrango's luscious baked eggs with bacon, spinach, cherry tomatoes, and a béchamel that gets its wonderful creaminess from real milk. On the other, inpatskitchen's clever riff on biscuits and gravy: scallion potato cakes smothered in a rich sausage gravy we couldn't get enough of.

But only one breakfast recipe can reign supreme. So let's give a big round of applause for...

Congrats, sdebrango! And thank you for making our mornings just a little more eggscellent.

Also, a big shoutout to everyone who submitted and made this contest oh so delicious. Stay tuned for a Q&A with sdebrango, where we’ll ask her all about this winning recipe.

Shortly after that, we’ll announce our next contest theme!
