Community Picks -- Mayonnaise-Based Salad

It's our fifth round of testing out our new system, where you help us pick the contest finalists! Any Food52 member is welcome to help us test our Community Pick candidates, so go call dibs on the recipe you'd like to test in the comments section below! We'd love to see some new testers in the mix -- remember, we're accepting up to 3 testers per recipe. If the recipe is worthy of a Community Pick, we'll publish the best headnote, so make it count! Don't forget to email us your headnote (no more than 100 words) to [email protected] by next Wednesday, July 25th at 5pm (EST).

We'll collect your comments, name the finalists and official Community Picks and publish the best headnote for each Community Pick (with credit, of course!). If the recipe you test isn't chosen as a Community Pick, please feel free to leave your testing notes in the recipe's comments section. Constructive criticism is always encouraged!

It is! You're right. The comprehensive list for dibs-calling includes every recipe that is in the running to be a finalist, too -- so we don't want this one to miss its chance even if it is already a CP. It won't lose its CP status, but with any luck, it could get an upgrade to a Finalist. Thanks for looking out!

I'm so excited! Thanks! I did not notice I left out a step in my recipe (Chicken salad with vouvray, leeks, and wheatberries), so I added a comment...hope the testers figure it out.

Congrats everyone. I'm leaving town today and won't have access to a kitchen while away. AAAGH. Withdrawal. I'm sorry I can't test!
