Whey Better Than a Mascot

These days, fight songs and mascots aren’t cutting it. Universities nationwide are now turning their school pride into something a little more palatable:cheese. Clemson is making a Roquefort-style blue. Washington State churns out smoky cheddar. And, Michigan State has its own cave, from which it creates aged, swiss-style curds. We’re fans of the cheese, to be sure, but also of new potential campus hangout spots. Next thing you know, you might even hear kids asking to ‘meet in between the cheese shelves.’
