Cow Dreamland

September 11, 2012

We love local farms, so finding out that a sustainable, organic family farm still exists is a wonderful discovery. Enter Bob, a third-generation dairy farmer raising happy, healthy cows in the green pastures of Oregon. Every cow has a name, a personality, and he loves them like his own children. Bob even has an enjoyable retirement plan for the older cows. He shares with the New York Times: "When Jolly grew old and unproductive, he traded her to a small family farm in exchange for a ham so she could live out her retirement with dignity."
