Congratulations on your most recent successes. I appreciate your efforts to help those of us who enjoy everything food related. Your recipes are outstanding.

Congrats! But I still think that my suggestion should be considered, to wit: reviews of kitchen gadgets and stuff by real cooks, ie. does it work as advertised?; does it work after it is used for several months (or more); does it clean up easily (or can it be dishwashered)?; etc.

Congratulations! I love your blog and how I am constantly inspired to bring new tastes and foods into my family's palate with your delightful recipes and ideas. They are always different enough to keep me from getting bored and simple enough to keep them at the table. Thank you for your inspiration!

Congrats, but don't get all snooty like those losers at The Kitchn. Keep it focused on food- I don't need to read about yuppies eating off their thousand dollar polenta board...

Have to say I was a bit repulsed by that polenta-board photo. I'm all for rustic, but maybe not for taking it quite that far...

It made me crazy. They were entertaining themselves creating a cartoon version of poverty. My mother hated polenta (but made it because dad insisted) because she grew up in a big Slovene farm family- a desperately poor one. And a lot of the time, polenta was all they had. The great thing about cooking another culture's food is the understanding of that culture it can give you. But that has to come out of respect, and I sure didn't see it there...

My sister introduced me to your blog a couple of years ago and I've been hooked ever since. There is something quite different about this site compared to the countless others out there. I believe there is a genuine warm feeling of membership and community that you all have developed through your personal dedication to us readers (foodies) and food, and it shows. You have that X factor. Thanks for allowing me to go along for the ride.

Congratulations, good to know the investors know what we all do.... Spreading the word here in Germany and getting great feedback here too.
One suggestion might be to start to develop focus on global regional cooking and food tradtions - with focus on flavors and preparation methods that can demystify some of the things we don't know about. Would love to see that developing here. Could also focus on traditional crops and sustainable production?
Thanks and again, congratulations!

Congratulations to you! I can't wait to watch how you continue to grow creatively and gracefully. (On the side, I must confess that I could barely focus on your announcement because I was so distracted by how much I want a donut from that box on the very edge of the photo. One track mind.)

Fabulous! I've worked "across the table" from Bertelsmann (a business service affiliate) negotiating deals, etc. with them for nearly 10 years for one of my better known clients. They're a classy group. Very classy, in so many ways. I'm thrilled for you. ;o)
