June 12, 2013

All week, Faith Durand from The Kitchn has been sharing recipes from her new book, Bakeless Sweets, to prepare us for summertime dessert cravings. But don't you want to know her tips for whipping cream? And don't you want to pick her brain about how many times she had to test those no-bake brownies before getting them just right? So do we.

Strawberry-Rhubarb Fool No-Bake Brownies

Today, from 10:30 to 11:30 AM, Faith will be answering your questions on the Hotline -- about cooking, eating, writing, or anything else you'd like to throw her way. So get your questions ready, and get yourself to the Hotline!

I make Ina Garten's yogurt cake every week - skipping the lemon sugar syrup and adding frozen blueberries. I was wondering about how to mix it up - let's say orange and ginger cake? Could I use fresh ginger or must I use ground. Can you think of other add-ins and flavors that would go nicely with this cake? Here is a the recipe - very basic (but foolproof)

Thanks!!!

I love to feed my friends and family... there is nothing like the smile of satisfaction plus the occasional "is there any more?"
