Your Photos: Dark, Leafy Greens

January 23, 2014

How do you know when you can finally call yourself a grown-up? When, instead of finding ways to avoid eating greens (feed them to dog, shove them under plate, stick in sweatshirt pocket), you search for every possible way to incorporate dark, leafy vegetables.

Maybe we hated greens once, but we've suppressed those memories. Now, we're head-over-heels in love with dark, leafy greens, which is why we partnered with goop to host a recipe contest to celebrate them. The Instagram photos you shared all week prove how moody, lush, and appetizing winter greens can be.

I used to work at Food52. I'm probably the person who picked all of the cookie dough out of the cookie dough ice cream.
