I have a question about the recipe "Morel Crostini" from Waverly. Can you substitute other mushrooms for the Morel. I don't know if I can find these near by. Thank you very much for your help.
Shiitake or Chanterelles

Look for morels at a farmers market. Morels and ramps are as much a sign of spring as robins!
You can use any mushroom for this recipe. Like ChefOno suggests, chanterelles or shiitakes will work well. If you can find morels though, I highly recommend them.
