I have a question about the recipe "James Beard's Strawberry Shortcakes" from Genius Recipes. Will these shortcakes suffer much if the cakes themselve were baked 5 or 6 hours in advance?

I've made these lots and often make a few left overs for breakfast and they're just as delicious as they were the night before!
