Looking for kid friendly NYC Manhattan restaurants that are trendy and not chains...reccomendations?

Kids don't belong out on a Friday night in Manhattan... Enough said!

I've been to 5 Napkin Burger when in NY - it's fabulous! There are three locations and they take reservations -which is a plus! Check out their menu online - a fun place when you want to go a bit more casual.

Blue Smoke if you're down with BBQ. They have kids decorate their own cookie and bake it for dessert.
