Saute some onions, ginger, green peppers - add marinated chicken, along with marinade. Depending on your spice levels, add some fresh green chillies, salt and top it up with some fresh coriander leaves. You can always add more balti spice if there's not enough in it - blend it with a little bit of yogurt first. Simmer in covered pot.

A quick and easy way to use it would be - marinate chicken (say 2lbs if feeding family of 4), with 1 cup natural yogurt and some Balti Spice, a tsp of lemon juice and the next day.... Saute some onions, ginger, green peppers - add the marinated chicken, along with the marinade. Depending on your spice levels, add some fresh green chillies, salt and top it up with some fresh coriander leaves. You can always add more balti spice if there's not enough in it - blend it with a little bit of yogurt first. Simmer in covered pot.

There are many recipes using balti on the web--particularly on BBC's food sites. Search on 'balti recipes' and they will pop up.

Balti is a form of curry. Any recipe using curry will work. Experiment and enjoy.
