Bangkok Recommendations?

The Friend and I are spending a long weekend in Bangkok. Restaurant and food-related shopping suggestions are badly needed. No restrictions on unrefrigerated stuff that I can tuck in my suitcases - I'm returning to Islamabad, and not subject to customs inspections.
