I have a question about the recipe "Heidi Swanson's Chickpea Stew with Saffron, Yogurt, and Garlic" from Genius Recipes. I love chickpeas..can I try this recipe w?out the saffron?

Sure, go for it -- it will still be a lovely soup without the saffron, and you can always add other seasonings to taste.
