roasting pan quest

Making small turkey breast. Have momand grandmom roasting pans, each has a flat rack with handles on each side. Racks sit on bottom of pans flat. This seems odd.Ami using it wrong. They won't stand up or the will collapse.

Does seem odd. Try cutting an onion in half and position the onin halves under the rack to lift it from the bottom of the pan

Omg, I am so stupid. I turned the handles the other way and now the rack sits ofc the bottom. Thank you!,
