A question about a recipe: Chicken Potstickers

I have a question about the recipe "Chicken Potstickers" from molly yeh. Recipe says 1 pound ground chicken, is this cooked or raw? it doesn't mention cooking the chicken in the recipe, and i'm sure the flash boil and steam would cook through? Thanks!

Raw chicken. You'll be steaming the dumplings for 4 minutes and then pan-frying until the skin gets golden crisp on one side. That's plenty of time to cook that amount of raw chicken in each dumpling.
