I have a question about the recipe "Herbed Butternut Squash Chips" from Merrill Stubbs. Texture: are these supposed to be crispy like potato chips? Mine more resemble fruit leather.

They should be crispy. Maybe your slices were a bit thicker? Perhaps they needed more time in the oven? Merrill left hers in the (turned off) oven overnight to fully cool and crisp up (http://food52.com/blog...).
Thanks - will try again. They sure did disappear fast enough even as veggie leather!
They barely need effort, in fact.
