A question about a recipe: "Greek" Lamb with Orzo

I have a question about the recipe ""Greek" Lamb with Orzo" from fiveandspice. I'm planning on making this dish a day ahead to have it ready for a Friday night dinner party. Two questions, is it okay to fully make the lamb and reheat it at a simmer? And can I make the orzo a day ahead as well?

Although the orzo is better fresh, I have made it the day before in a situation like this where it will be re-moistened with the lamb stew
