Sichuan pepper substitute

Sorry to say, that flavor is completely inique and there is no sub for it. If you can't find it, make a diff recipe.

The closest thing I can think of is gochugaru, a spicy Korean chile powder. You would need to most likely hit a Korean market to find it.
