I have a question about the recipe "Plum Tart" from Amanda Hesser. I imagine the plums would be cut into segments that would fit well, depending on the size of the fruit?

I think so - the Italian plums are small but I can't often get them here so I use larger ones in recipes like this and cut to fit ...
They barely need effort, in fact.
