I have a question about the recipe "Carrot Ginger Pumpkin Soup" from misschels. How much fresh pumpkin do I need?

The recipe says a 15oz can of pumpkin so if you want to use fresh pumpkin, roast your pumpkin and then measure out 15oz of it pureed (about 1 1/2 cups if you don't have a food scale). You should be able to get more than you need from each pumpkin you cook.
