Can enchiladas be made ahead to freeze for future meals or will they just get soggy?

I have frozen homemade enchiladas, and also bought frozen ones from the supermarket. They're not precooked before freezing however - the meat inside is raw, and we just bake it in the oven until the cheese browns a little on top.

I have frozen enchiladas many times and have had no issues.
