Lemon posset. mrslarkin's recipe, posted here. Use puff pastry on your cobbler, serve a sharp green salad. Sounds like a great dinner! ;o)

How about some decadent chocolate, vanilla or butterscotch pudding with whipped cream?

When I saw your main dish I had two ideas immediately: Poached Pears in Port wine with reduction sauce and/or Chocolate layer cake. Actually, this time of year, Black Forest Cake would be SO festive.

I vote for baked apples or apple crisp. But I always think apple crisp is the most appropriate dessert.

David Lebovitz (French) lemon yogurt cake with apricot cherry compote. Or just the compote, if you feel full and sa've the cake for breakfast.

since the pot pie I'm making is a David Lebovitz reicipe, this seems appropriate!
