how to store mussels

i bought them an hour ago, but turns out i won't be able to cook them until tomorrow. what is the best way to store in the fridge?

I'd take them out of their original wrappings and place in a bowl over a bowl of ice water. Cover loosely. As Meghan said, be sure to discard any that are already open that don't close when you tap them.

Over a bowl of ice in the fridge, with a damp paper towel over them. Don't forget to go through then tomorrow before cooking, throwing out any that are open but don't close when tapped.
