I have a question about the recipe "Smashed Peas and Fava Beans with Fresh Mozzarella" from TheCilantropist. Are the peas and favas cooked? the recipe seems to grind them raw??

The peas and fava beans are indeed blended raw in this recipe, though, as noted in Step 1: "If you prefer, blanch the fava beans in boiling water for 3-5 minutes, and slip off the skins."
