I have a question about the recipe "Kale Pesto Orecchiette" from Brussels Sprouts for Breakfast. If you were to throw in a protein with this dish what would work best? Chicken? Sausage?

I think a sweet Italian sausage would work well here. Reminds me of orecchiette and broccoli rabe, which often has sausage in it. I would sauté off bulk sausage and toss it through.
