Beginner's cookbook for a 5-year-old? preferably one your child loves!

This is for a Christmas present. I've already done a search and gotten a few recommendations I'll be checking out but I wanted to ask parents of kids in this age range if they've come across a book they think is well done, and easy and fun for the kids to follow and cook from? My nephew loves to bake cookies and is surprisingly good at it - we have to do it every time I visit because it's become our "thing". So I'm looking for a book that will help him branch out but I don't have kids of my own so I'm hoping those of you who do can share some insights and help me pick a good one. Thanks so much for your help.

I've recently come across this book. It's whimsical but informative. Goes beyond just food (incorporates my love for travel!).

I second the recommendation of Pretend Soup. We cooked from it when my sister and I were little, and I've given it to several friends who tell me their kids love cooking from it.
